  • Auvergne: 2 new recreational spa centres offer outstanding facilities in which to enjoy all the pleasure of the water: The Royatonic in Royat and Caleden in Chaudes-Aigues

Swimming pools & Aquatic centres

  • Burgundy: Dijon boasts sports facilities of international standard, such as an Olympic pool, entry price at just 5€.
  • Midi - Pyrenées: The Caliceo aquatic centre is only 15 minutes away from Toulouse centre, featuring steam bath and indoor pool.
  • Normandy: Les Bains des docks in Le Havre: newly renovated, this innovative aquatic centre has indoor and outdoor pools, Jacuzzi, water jets and a well equipped gym.
  • Savoie Mont Blanc: Fabulous 5,000 m2 aqua centre “le Lagon” at the bottom of the pists facing the Grande Motte glacier in Tignes with water slides for kids and adults!

Sports & Thalassotherapy

  • Languedoc Roussillon: Mix hiking and thalassotherapy with Vert-l’Aventure on the Côte Vermeille. Minimum age: 12 years old.

Thermal springs/ Thalassotherapy

  • Auvergne: 10 resorts along the ‘Route des Villes d’Eaux’ that cross the Massif Central provide visitors with all the benefits of thermal springs.

  • Midi-Pyrénées: Spa and relaxing weekend in Toulouse in the new luxury and trendy ‘Urban Spa 360’.
  • Nord pas de Calais: the Nuxe spa at the Westminster hotel in Le Touquet offers comfort and serenity.
  • Normandy: Nestled in the village of Lyon-la-Foret, one of France’s most beautiful villages, the hotel La Licorne also offers spa therapies with an indoor and outdoor pool.
  • Ile de Ré: The SPA by Clarins of the 4* hotel Le Clos St Martin offers maximum relation with its treatments, wellness and beauty centre, all in verdant surroundings.

  • Auvergne: La Savonnerie, in the pretty village of Charroux, makes artisanal soaps. Seaweed, shea, almonds, verbena and bay as well as a range of organic products.

Spas

  • Burgundy: The Celto spa dedicated Sunday mornings to families who can enjoy one of the beauty centres, along with a spa, pool, gym, massage, personal coaching, etc.
  • Languedoc Roussillon: Obalia is a premier spa set in the beautiful town of Balaruc, where children aged 8 - 15 can enjoy various treatments.
  • Midi-Pyrenees: In the Hautes-Pyrenees, Balnéa and Sensoria are the perfect thermal leisure & spa centres for a relaxing time for families, babies included.
  • Rhone-Alpes: The 4* Buddha-Bar Spa hotel at Hilton Evian-les-Bains faces Lake Geneva and offers a 1,500m² spa occupying 3 floors and illuminated by natural light.

  • Auvergne: Vichy is the benchmark of spa towns with 3 acclaimed spas and also the place to go for sports and fitness with an multi-sport centre, aquatic centre, two 18-hole golf courses and so much more.
  • Brittany: Right on the coastal path, the ‘Hôtel Ty Mad’ in Douarnenez is a charming family-run boutique hotel, complete with a swimming pool, sauna and hammam.
  • Burgundy: The Burgundy Vines Spa & Well-being Centre, located among the vineyards of the Côte de Beaune invites visitors to experience the benefits of the grape in a carefully designed space for relaxation.
  • Midi - Pyrenées: The ‘Castel de La Pomarede’ is a 19th-century building located in Lomagne, which offers 3 comfortable rooms and a spa and sauna in the park.
  • Poitou - Charentes: The soon to be reopened Mélusine Spa at La Roche Posay features a 140 m2 thermal pool, a hydro-Jacuzzi and an enormous 22 m2 hammam. 
  • Rhône - Alpes: The charming 3* Les Tresoms Hotel in Annecy overlooks the lake, and provides exquise cuisine and a spa centre featuring an outdoor swimming-pool.
  • Savoie Mont Blanc: The seven spa resorts of the region have now developed
    well-being sections open to the public for afternoon relaxation.

Thalassotherapy

  • Languedoc Roussillon: The Flamants Roses thalassatherapy centre offers discounts for its senior guest on certain selected days.
  • Ile de Ré: The Hotel Atalante offers 7 thalassatherapy programs and the perfect relaxation place amongst five hectares of private and protected land.
  • Riviera: 2500 m2 devoted to fitness and health with a fun zone and a beauty salon just about sums up Thalazur Antibes, part of the national "Thalazur" network.
  • Corsica: besides seaside therapy, great thermal waters at Zigliara-Bains d'Urbalacone.
  • Marseilles: The Center of Wellbeing « Chateau Berger » welcomes you in a modern complex of Thalassotherapy close to the sea, on the Corniche Kennedy. Personalized cures and cares are proposed to you for one hour, one day or a week.

  • Riviera: 'Eveil Essences' in Grasse allows travellers to learn how to realize their own custom-made care products. A playful pleasure and an ecological approach for a pure moment of relaxation!

Thalassotherapy and Spas

  • Brittany: The paradise island of Belle-Ile is host to the Castel Clara thalassotherapy and spa and its intensive, holistic revitalisation 'back to nature' programme.
  • Burgundy: Halotherapy, or 'salt therapy' treatments are available in the salt cave of 'Relaxsel', located very close to the beautiful town of Pouilly.
  • Languedoc Roussillon: La Chaldette is a thermal resort set in the heart of the Aubrac area in Lozère at 1000 metres high.
  • Rhône-Alpes: Overlooking lavender fields and Madame de Sévigné's famous castle, the 'Clair de la Plume' hotel cultivates well-being in Grignan, in the heart of the Provençal Drôme, with a natural pool in its grounds.
  • Nantes 2012: In the Lieu Unique, the hammam is open every day from 11am to 9pm.
  • Vendée: Thalasso by bike: the Atlantic by bike from spa to spa links Norway in the far north to Portugal in the south through France! The Vendée leg of the road, is one of the main spot in France at the Sables d’Olonne.
